0:02 Hello everybody, thank you so much for joining us today for today's live training. We're going to be talking about landing pages and how you can make landing pages using VipeCloud.

0:16 Before we jump into it, if you have any questions at all, throw those into the chat or into the comments if you're tuning in from the Success Suite.

0:29 You can do the same directly in YouTube if that's also where you're tuning in. We're going to be there to answer your questions in real time while this live stream is taking place. This is being recorded ahead of time, but we'll be there to answer your questions as you're watching. Feel free to throw in those questions if you're watching after it has gone live.

0:58 As always, feel free to reach out to us through our chat widget either in the product or on our website. We're always there to help.

1:05 First of all, what is a landing page? Landing pages are typically thought of as standalone pages used for giving people information or collecting their information for a campaign.

1:27 There are a couple of ways that VipeCloud supports this. We have our HTML email template builder, which is very commonly used in our system for creating informational pages. If you're sharing information about your products or upcoming events, this is a great way to do that. It makes creating a standalone page really easy.

1:50 We've also got our signup forms, which can be used for different landing page purposes. As we see here, there's the signup form landing page where you let VipeCloud create a URL for you, which you can then share. It’s a one-page solution that has some information on it and, most importantly, a form for collecting whatever information you need.

2:18 Then we have our embedded signup forms as well. A single signup form can be used for either sharing method, but the embedded form is for inserting a form directly into your own page through an iframe. This form can collect people's information directly from your webpage.

2:38 Let’s jump into this. I'm going to back up a little and start from the homepage so you can see how to get to this. We’ll start with the HTML-type landing pages.

2:54 Since these are technically email templates, go to the Communication tab, then down to Templates. You can create a new email template or use an existing one. If you’re creating a new one, click the Create button, give it a template title and subject line, and enable the "Template Landing Page" option.

3:32 If you’ve already created an email template and want to turn it into a landing page, you can do that too. I'll show you how. Choose the drag-and-drop HTML builder. Technically, you can create a landing page using a rich-text type email, but it will just display text on a URL. Most people prefer a designed, colorful, web-page-looking landing page, so they use this type.

4:15 Since I already have some examples, I’ll jump into an existing template. When you see "Landing Page" with a link at the top, congratulations—you have a landing page ready to go.

4:34 Clicking the link will load the email template as a landing page. If you haven’t turned your HTML template into a landing page yet, it won’t show a URL. To enable it, go to Edit Template Details, enable the "Template Landing Page" option, and save. Now you have a landing page with a shareable URL.

5:26 You can preview the landing page and ensure everything looks the way you want. Since it’s an email template builder, merge tags may not work when someone views the URL directly because VipeCloud won’t know who they are. To avoid issues, you can replace personalized greetings with something generic like “Hey there.”

6:46 If you want to share the same content as a landing page and an email, create a copy of the email template without merge tags for the landing page version. You can also customize the URL link to match your branding. Note that when you update the link, the previous one will no longer work, so make changes before sharing.

7:36 Next, let’s talk about signup form landing pages. You'll find signup forms under Automation > Lead Capture. This feature automatically captures people’s information and triggers follow-up actions. Every signup form has landing page capabilities by default.

8:02 Once you add fields like name and email, the landing page link and embed code will appear. You can share the landing page link or use the embed code to insert the form directly into your own webpage.

9:00 For more customization, the embed code is ideal. If you already have a website and want your CRM to capture information through a campaign, embedding the form is the best option. It allows you to fully control the webpage design while using VipeCloud’s form for data collection.

9:27 Here's an example of an embedded VipeCloud form on a website. The form looks fully integrated with the site while still capturing data directly into our CRM.

10:00 If you have any questions about using landing pages in VipeCloud, or if you want to learn more about using automations with signup forms, we have other help videos on that topic. These videos cover sending automated emails and follow-ups once someone fills out a form.

10:50 If you need help embedding forms into your website, feel free to reach out to us. We’re happy to help. Thank you, and have a lovely rest of your day!
