What This Does

Suites and Parties are VipeCloud's built-in community and event tools. Suites are ongoing groups for customers, teams, or VIP communities. Parties are time-limited events with a predefined post sequence and an end date. Both include a feed, group chat, individual messaging, and action links.

How to Access Suites and Parties

  1. Click Community in the left sidebar.

  2. Click Suites

  3. Suites & Parties will be options

How to Invite Guests to a Suite or Party

Guests can be invited using a shareable invite link. There are two ways to copy it.

Option 1 - From Inside the Suite or Party

  1. Open the Suite or Party.

  2. Click the green Invite Link button in the upper right of the description card.

  3. The link is copied to your clipboard.

Option 2 - From the Suites or Parties List Page

  1. Go to your Suites or Parties list.

  2. Locate the Suite or Party card.

  3. Click the green Copy Invite Link button at the bottom of the card.

What the Guest Experience Looks Like

When a guest clicks an invite link:

  • They can immediately view the Party or Suite feed without logging in.

  • To comment, chat, or engage, they must create a login.

  • Login requires only an email address and a password.

  • After entering credentials, a verification code is emailed to them.

  • Once verified, they enter their name and are in.

Guests do not need an existing VipeCloud account. The login they create is specific to joining the Suite or Party.

Suites vs. Parties - Key Differences

  • Suite - An ongoing group with no end date. Use for customer communities, VIP groups, or team groups that you build over time.

  • Party - A time-limited event built around a post sequence. Has a defined end date. Use for product launches, sales events, or hosted experiences.

Both include a feed, group chat, individual messaging, and action links. Once you know how to use one, the other works the same way.

How to Use Action Links

Action links are call-to-action buttons that appear inside your Suite or Party. They can link to anything - a booking page, a form, an external website, or any other URL.

  1. Open your Suite or Party editor.

  2. Locate the Actions section.

  3. Add a new action link and enter the label and destination URL.

  4. Save.

How to Go Live in a Suite or Party

You can stream live directly into a Suite or Party using Streamyard via YouTube.

  1. Start your live stream in Streamyard and set YouTube as the destination.

  2. Copy the YouTube live stream URL.

  3. Paste the URL into a new post inside your Suite or Party.

Note: Direct Zoom streaming is not supported. If Zoom can output to YouTube, that YouTube link can be used.

Privacy and Guest Visibility Settings

  • By default, guests can see the party feed when they click the invite link, before logging in.

  • For Suites, you can require approval before guests can join. When approval is required, new guests see a login prompt first and are held for your review.

  • Allow lists can be configured so guests with specific email addresses are auto-approved without manual review.

  • Guest visibility can be toggled. As the host, you can control whether guests can see other guests in the member list.

  • Hosts and admins can always see and remove guests.

  • Additional admins can be added to approve, deny, or remove guests.

How to Access Sequence Templates for Parties

Party post sequences are built using Sequence Templates. These let you predefine the posts for a party and reuse the same structure across multiple events.

  1. Click Community in the left sidebar.

  2. Click Suites

  3. Click Sequences

  4. Under My Sequences, view sequences you have created.

  5. Under Shared With Me, view sequences shared by an admin or team member.

Key Notes

  • Joining a Suite or Party as a guest is free. There is no cost barrier for the people you invite.

  • Hosting a Suite or Party requires a Community add-on.

  • Login is required to engage because it allows hosts to remove disruptive guests if needed.

  • Guests who download the VipeCloud mobile app will receive push notifications for new posts, chats, and direct messages.

  • A daily email recap is sent to guests who miss activity - this is a fallback for guests who have not downloaded the mobile app.

  • You can have unlimited Suites and unlimited Parties under a single Suites subscription.

Common Questions

Can I post a VipeCloud party link on Facebook? In most cases yes, but Facebook's behavior around external links is inconsistent and has become less predictable. Texting or emailing the link directly to contacts is more reliable.

Can I move guests from a Party into a Suite after the event ends? Yes. This is a supported workflow. You can promote your Suite inside the Party using an action link, and guests can join the Suite before or after the Party ends.

Can I schedule posts in advance for a Party? Yes. Use Sequence Templates to predefine posts. Once the template is set, apply it to a Party and the posts run automatically on the schedule you define.

Do guests need a VipeCloud account to join? No. Guests create a separate login using just an email and password. If they already have a VipeCloud account, they can use it.
