A social sequence is a set of social templates posted one after another on a schedule you set, such as the posts for a Facebook party, a promotion, or an introduction to what you offer. You build it once, then launch it whenever you need it and choose the accounts it posts to each time.
How to Create a Social Sequence
Each step in a sequence is a social template, so a sequence controls only which post goes out and when. The Default Delay saves you from setting the timing on every step: each new step starts with it. Use Delay Between Steps for posts a fixed time apart, and Set Time Of Day for a sequence that runs over several days, so you pick a clock time instead of counting the hours between posts.
Click Sequences under Suites in the Community section of the sidebar.
Click Create New.
Enter a Sequence Title.
Select Delay Between Steps or Set Time Of Day.
Set the Default Delay in days, hours, or minutes.
Click Add First Step.
Select a social template, or click Create New to write one without leaving the sequence.
Click Add Another Step and select the next template. Repeat for each post.
To change the order, drag a step to its new place.
Click Save Social Sequence.
Turn on Minimized View to show only each step's template title, which keeps a long sequence easy to scan. For more on templates, see Social Templates.
How to Launch a Social Sequence
Launching schedules every step as a post on the accounts you choose. Before you launch, you can change a step's delay or text for this launch only, and the social templates behind it stay as they are.
On the Sequences page, hover over the sequence and click Launch.
Review the steps and change any delay or post you need for this launch.
Click Choose Accounts.
Check the accounts the sequence should post to.
Click Review & Launch.
Check when each post will go out.
Click Launch Sequence.
How to Change or Stop a Launched Sequence
A launched sequence lists its posts on the Launched Sequences tab of the Sequences page. Steps that haven't posted yet can still be edited or removed there.
On the Sequences page, click Launched Sequences.
Click the sequence.
Edit the unposted steps or the accounts.
Click Save Changes To Launched Sequence.
To cancel the rest of the sequence instead, open it the same way and click Delete Scheduled Posts. Changing the accounts here changes them for every post in the sequence that hasn't gone out yet.
How to Share a Sequence With a Link
A share link gives other VipeCloud users a copy of your sequence and all of its social templates, so a team can run the same party posts. To share with a team in your own account instead, check the sequence on the Sequences page and use Share With Teams from the menu above the list.
On the Sequences page, hover over a sequence you own and click the Share Sequence & Templates icon.
Click Generate Sequence Share Link.
To limit the link to users in your own account, turn on the toggle below the link.
Copy the link from the Share Link field and send it.
Who the link works for depends on your account. The Share Social Sequence window says which applies to you:
Admins - Can share with any VipeCloud user, including users outside your account.
Other users - Can share only with users in their own account.
Team Provider selected - The link works only for users who chose the same Team Provider.
Click Customize next to the link to change its ending.
How to Use a Sequence Shared With You
Sequences others share with you are on the Shared With Me tab. You can launch one as it is. Copy it into My Sequences only when you want to edit it, since a shared sequence can't be changed.
On the Sequences page, click Shared With Me.
Click the sequence's name to see its steps.
To edit it, click Copy Sequence Into My Sequences.
Make your changes to the copy.
Click Save Social Sequence.
The copy also copies the sequence's social templates into your library, in a folder named after the sequence. The original stays on the Shared With Me tab.
Key Notes
Changes you make while launching affect only that launch. The saved sequence and its templates stay the same.

Only the owner of a sequence sees the Share Sequence & Templates icon.
Some accounts see an upgrade message instead of the Generate Sequence Share Link button.
