What This Does
This article walks through how to create a Party Sequence Template and launch it as a Party with a Party Link. The Sequence Template is reusable - build it once and use it every time you host a party.
How to Access Parties and Sequences
Click Community in the left sidebar
Click Suites
Suites and Parties buttons will be available
Step 1: Create a Sequence Template
A Sequence Template defines all the posts that will run during your party. You build it once and apply it each time you launch.
Click Sequences in the sidebar.
Click Create New.
Enter a name for the template.
Choose your delay logic:
Time delay - each post fires a set amount of time after the previous one
Specific time of day - each post is scheduled to go out at a defined time
The system will apply a default 1-hour delay between posts as you build. You can adjust each delay as needed.
Step 2: Configure the Sequence Template Settings
Still inside the Sequence Template editor, configure the design and actions for your party.
Add an Icon and Background
Click the icon field and select an image from your library.
To upload a new image, click Add Content and choose from your computer, the stock image library, or Canva.
Click Add Background and select a background image using the same process.
Add an Action Link
Action links appear as call-to-action buttons inside the party. Use them to drive guests to a shop, booking page, or any URL.
Click Action in the template editor.
Enter the button label and the destination URL.
Configure as needed and save.
Step 3: Build Your Posts
Scroll to the Steps section of the Sequence Template editor.
Click Add First Step.
Select an existing post from your library, or click Create New to build a new one.
In the post editor, add your text, images, videos, or emojis.
Click Create and Insert to add the post to the sequence.
Repeat by clicking Add Another Step for each additional post.
To adjust the delay between two posts, click the delay indicator between them and update the time. Click Save Changes.
Reordering and Editing Posts
Hover over any post to reveal options: edit, delete, or change the template.
Posts are drag and drop. Drag a post to reorder it within the sequence.
Use the minimize view toggle to collapse post previews and reduce scrolling when working with long sequences.
Step 4: Save and Launch the Sequence
Click Save to save the Sequence Template.
Hover over the template in your Sequences list and click Launch.
The launch flow has three steps: Finalize Steps, Choose Accounts, and Review and Launch.
Finalize Steps
Review the posts and timing. You can edit post content or adjust the start time here. Note: changes made at this stage apply to this launch only and will not update the saved template.
Configure the Party Link
This is where you create the Party Link - the URL your guests will use to access the party.
Enter a name for the party.
Add a description if desired.
Customize the URL slug.
Set an expiration if you want the party to automatically close after a set number of days after completion. When a party expires, guests see a prompt to join your Suite.
Confirm the action links you set up earlier are showing correctly.
Set privacy options:
Require login to view posts - guests must log in before seeing any content. Leaving this off lets guests preview the party before joining, which can increase signups.
Require approval - guests are held for your review before they can join.
Guest visibility - control whether guests can see other guests in the party.
Click Save and Close.
Review and Launch
Click Review and Launch to do a final review.
Click Launch Sequence to go live.
Step 5: Manage and Share Your Party After Launch
Once launched, the party appears in your Launch Sequences list.
Click View Steps on a launched party to see the scheduled post timeline and confirm what has or has not posted yet.
Click Go to Party to open the live party view where you can post manually, access the group chat, view guests, and adjust settings.
To invite guests, click the Copy Invite Link button inside the party and share the link.
How to Invite Guests to Your Party
There are two ways to copy your invite link.
Option 1 - From inside the party:
Click the green Invite Link button in the upper right of the party's description card.
Option 2 - From the Parties list page:
Click the green Copy Invite Link button at the bottom of the party card.
Key Notes
Sequence Templates are reusable. The same template can be launched multiple times as separate parties.
Edits made during the launch flow are one-time only. They do not update the saved template.
Leaving the "require login to view" setting off is recommended - guests can preview the party before signing up, which increases the likelihood they will join.
The expiration setting is useful for funneling party guests into your ongoing Suite after the event ends.
Manual posts can be added at any time from inside the live party, in addition to the scheduled sequence posts.
