VipeCloud MCP Server - What It Can Do

VipeCloud offers an MCP Server (Model Context Protocol) that allows AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to connect directly to your VipeCloud account and take real action on your behalf. The AI acts within the permissions of your VipeCloud account - it can only do what your account allows.

When you connect your VipeCloud account to an AI assistant via the MCP Server, it enables you to use your CRM by simply having a conversation. You can tell an AI assistant things like "add this lead to my follow-up list and start the 5-email nurture sequence," or "send a text to everyone in my pending list," and it happens - no manual steps required. This is what prompt-based CRM usage looks like in practice: your AI assistant becomes a direct extension of your VipeCloud account, able to read, create, update, and send on your behalf.

Contacts

The AI can look up any contact in your account by email or phone number. It can create new contacts, update existing contact information (like phone numbers, company names, addresses, or any custom fields you've set up), and remove contacts when needed. It can also add or remove contacts from lists as part of a larger task.


Contact Lists

The AI can create new contact lists, rename existing ones, add people to a list, or remove people from a list. If you need a fresh list built around a specific group of contacts, the AI can put that together for you.


Sending Email

The AI can send an email to a single contact, a group of specific email addresses, or an entire contact list. It can use one of your saved email templates or compose a custom message. Emails can be sent immediately or scheduled for a specific date and time.


Sending Text Messages

The AI can send a text message to a single contact or an entire contact list. It can use a saved text template or send a custom message. Like email, texts can be sent immediately or scheduled ahead of time.


Email Templates

The AI can create new email templates, search through your existing ones, update a template's subject line or body, and delete templates you no longer need.


Text Templates

The AI can create, find, update, and delete your saved SMS templates.


Series Templates

The AI can build a series from scratch, update an existing series, launch a series to a contact or a full list, and check which series a specific contact is currently enrolled in.


Automations

Automations trigger an action - like sending an email, sending a text, or starting a series - when something happens in your account. Examples include when a contact is added to a list, when a specific date arrives, or when a contact's field value changes. The AI can create, update, and delete automations.


Schedulers

Schedulers are your meeting booking pages. The AI can look up your schedulers, check available time slots, and book a meeting on a scheduler on behalf of a contact. It can also update scheduler settings like meeting duration, availability hours, and buffer time between meetings.


Sign-Up Forms

The AI can look up your sign-up forms and pull the list of fields on any given form. This is useful when verifying how a form is set up or confirming what information it collects.


Tags

Tags are labels you apply to contacts for organization and segmentation. The AI can create new tags, rename existing ones, delete tags, and retrieve a list of all tags in your account.


Custom Fields

Custom fields are the extra data fields on your contacts beyond the standard ones - things like "Lead Source," "Franchise Brand," or any field your team has created. The AI can look up all of the custom fields in your account, which helps it understand your data structure when answering questions or performing tasks. Note: the AI can read custom field definitions but cannot create or modify them - custom field management is done in your VipeCloud account settings.


Products and Services

VipeCloud lets you store a catalog of products and services that can be tied to opportunities in your pipeline. The AI can create, update, retrieve, and delete records in that catalog.


Files

The AI can look up files stored in your VipeCloud account, import a new file from a URL, rename a file, or delete a file.


Activity Logging

The AI can log a completed activity or note against a contact's record. This is useful when the AI completes a task on your behalf and needs to leave a record of what was done.


User Merge Tags

Merge tags are placeholders in your emails and texts that get filled in with your information when the message sends - things like your name, phone number, or booking link. The AI can look up your existing merge tags and update their values.


A Note for Technical Users
