The card layout on the Opportunities pipeline view shows a snapshot of key data for each opportunity card. You can choose which fields appear on those cards and in what order, so the most relevant information is visible at a glance without opening each record.
How to Customize Your Card Layout
Navigate to Opportunities and switch to the card (pipeline) view.
Click Card Layout.
The panel that opens shows all fields currently displayed on your cards under Reorder or remove fields.
To add a standard field, click the Add Standard Field dropdown and select the field you want. Examples include Amount, Summary, Owner, Source, Primary Contact, Create Date, and Days in Current Stage.
To add an opportunity custom field, click the Add Custom Field dropdown and select from your account's opportunity custom fields.
To reorder fields, drag and drop them within the list.
To remove a field, click the trash icon next to it.
Click Ok to save your changes.
Key Notes
Card layout is a user setting - changes you make apply to your view only and do not affect other users.
Days in Current Stage is one of the most commonly added fields. It shows how long an opportunity has been sitting in its current pipeline stage.
Primary Contact is another popular addition. It surfaces the contact linked to the opportunity directly on the card.
Task fields such as latest task name, task type, and task date can also be added, giving you a quick read on recent activity without opening the record.
Custom fields available in the Add Custom Field dropdown are opportunity custom fields only. Contact or account custom fields are not available here.
There is no limit to the number of fields you can add, but keep in mind that more fields make each card taller and can reduce how many opportunities are visible on screen at once.
