VipeCloud's left sidebar is fully customizable. You can reorder categories, hide entire categories, and show or hide individual links within each category. Changes apply only to your account unless you are an admin who chooses to apply them account-wide.
How to Access Sidebar Settings
Click Settings in the bottom left of the sidebar.
Under the Account section, click Customize.
Click Left Sidebar.
Or navigate directly: https://app.vipecloud.com/setup/customizations/left_sidebar_layout
How to Reorder or Hide Entire Categories
On the Left Sidebar page, locate the Categories card at the top.
Click Reorder & Hide Categories.
In the modal that appears, drag categories up or down to change their order in the sidebar.
Use the Show toggle next to each category to show or hide it.
Click Save.
Hiding a category removes it from the sidebar entirely, including all links within it. The categories available are: Vipe AI, Communication, Automation, CRM, Community, Reports, Contacts, and Library.
How to Show or Hide Individual Links
Below the Categories card, click through the category tabs in the mock sidebar panel.
Select the category you want to configure.
Use the toggles to show or hide individual links within that category.
Parent links have their own toggle. Hiding a parent hides all of its child links as well.
For example, hiding the Email parent will also hide Inbox, Sent, Mass, Scheduled, Templates, and Reputation.
How to Apply Settings to All Users (Admins Only)
At the top of the Left Sidebar Layout Settings card, check the box labeled [Admin Only] Apply to all users?
Save your changes.
This will apply your sidebar configuration to any user who has not already created their own custom sidebar. Users with an existing customization will not be affected.
Key Notes
The Contacts category is available in the sidebar and can be shown or hidden like any other category.
Sidebar changes take effect after refreshing the page.
Each user can maintain their own sidebar configuration. Admin-applied settings only affect users who haven't customized their own.
Hiding a parent link hides all child links beneath it - you do not need to toggle each child off individually.
