In VipeCloud, you can accept payments via PayPal in our Sign-Up Forms. PayPal requires that you have a business account in order to do this, so you will need to make sure that your account either is a business account or you can convert your non-business account over on PayPal.

We have low transaction fees that are applied to these transactions - learn more about them here.

Onboard PayPal

To begin, connect your PayPal account. Head to Automations > PayPal to do this: https://app.vipecloud.com/setup/integrations/paypal

You will also find lots of helpful information in the blue box at the top of the page regarding fees and PayPal's terms.

Create The Product You Will Sell

Products is the section of the CRM where you create & track the various products / services that are sold across your software, including in payment forms.

If you already have the product made that you need, you can skip this section. But if you have not, do the following:

  1. Click Add Product

  2. Enter the information of the product in the window that pops up

    1. The name, image, description and price are all visible to people who will be using your form.

    2. The other fields here can be filled out if useful for you, but they can otherwise be ignored.

    3. Add tax if you will be needing to collect tax.

Create Your Form

Head to Automation > Sign Up Forms https://app.vipecloud.com/sign_up_forms/

Click +Create to create a new form

Enter the name you would like to give your form and choose Sale / Donation for your form type:

On the next page, if you see "Connect Paypal", then please refer back to the earlier "Onboard PayPal" section.

Here you can either select a product or create a new one. If you need to create a new product, you can refer to the earlier Create The Product You Will Sell section.

Click the Select A Product button to choose what you would like to sell.

Toggle which payment options you would like

Credit card has the lowest fees for you, and it doesn't require your customers to have an account with PayPal/Venmo. The funds collected via credit card are issued to you in your connected PayPal account.

If enabling Venmo, PayPal requires that PayPal also be enabled.
