hello vipers let's talk about the inbox

0:03

sync and schedulers settings

0:06

so the way you get here is by clicking

0:09

on the upper right

0:10

corner here where your name is hit setup

0:13

and then click on inbox sync and

0:15

scheduler

0:17

you'll find this right here which gives

0:18

you a couple options

0:20

for how the inbox sync will be

0:24

controlled in vip cloud so let's just go

0:27

through this top to bottom

0:29

so right here send individual emails

0:31

through your own

0:32

email with your own email exchange

0:34

account

0:36

and so what that is is first of all an

0:38

individual email

0:40

invite cloud is any regular email you're

0:42

sending to a single recipient so it's a

0:44

not it's not a mass email

0:47

and most people are going to want to

0:50

have this

0:50

checked because what that will do is

0:53

when you send

0:54

these emails they are going to then

0:56

appear in your sent folder

0:58

in your email client which is quite

1:01

handy so you can go into your

1:03

regular email client like you know like

1:05

g suite

1:06

or office 365 and

1:09

when you search for emails you'll know

1:11

that everything in there

1:13

is every email that you've sent that

1:15

isn't a mass email anyway

1:17

uh that is unless you change the setting

1:19

here

1:20

uh so in most cases you're going to want

1:22

to have you want to leave this checked

1:23

and these are the

1:24

default settings by the way when you

1:27

establish your uh

1:28

your inbox sync so then down here

1:31

send mass emails through bytecloud's

1:34

servers we strongly recommend that you

1:36

leave this checked and the reason for

1:39

that is because if you don't check this

1:41

mass emails will instead be sent through

1:43

your own email exchange like your

1:45

individual emails

1:48

and then you'll you'll likely run into

1:51

the risk

1:52

of hitting your daily

1:55

email send caps that are established by

1:59

your own email exchange

2:00

um and so what you'll want to do is if

2:04

you

2:04

if you do decide that you want to have

2:06

mass emails

2:07

sent through your own email exchange

2:09

look into

2:10

what those send limits are and make sure

2:13

that you won't be

2:15

hitting those limits and then here

2:18

sync inbound emails into vipe cloud

2:22

this is basically like one of the

2:25

one of the flagship uh features in these

2:29

uh inbox sync settings and so what that

2:32

is

2:32

is that when somebody sends a email to

2:35

your

2:36

uh to your to your regular email vip

2:39

cloud will be able to see those those

2:41

inbound emails

2:42

and so what that will do is allow in the

2:45

contact views you will see

2:47

uh the full correspondence with those

2:50

with those contacts both the emails that

2:53

you're sending to them

2:55

as well as their replies all of that

2:56

will be seen there so get a nice

2:58

complete picture of everything that is

2:59

going on

3:00

in that regard and then also that

3:04

enables

3:05

features like uh series

3:09

email series being cancelled once

3:11

somebody replies which helps

3:13

uh stop inadvertent

3:16

automatic emails to going to somebody uh

3:19

where they just replied and

3:21

you know causing confusion um things

3:24

like that

3:25

so this is definitely a a good feature

3:28

to have here

3:29

uh attribute emails as contact activity

3:33

again this is uh when somebody replies

3:37

that will then be listed as a contact

3:39

activity in the contact

3:41

view and then we've got this here

3:43

automatically create contacts

3:45

for every email sent and received

3:48

and so what this does is it allows your

3:51

crm to be

3:52

kind of like automatically built up with

3:55

with users and contacts so

3:57

yeah not users just contacts and

4:01

this is a great feature if you

4:04

don't have a lot of correspondence with

4:07

people who you wouldn't want to have in

4:09

your crm

4:11

so i i personally actually leave this

4:14

off

4:15

just because i i sent a lot of emails

4:18

you know

4:18

with with people and companies that i

4:21

don't necessarily want to have added to

4:23

to the crm so for instance you know like

4:25

if you

4:26

um if you're on mailing lists with uh

4:30

with people who you don't want to have

4:31

in there maybe you'll want to have this

4:32

turned off

4:34

but it all depends on on your personal

4:37

preference

4:38

and once you make any changes here then

4:40

you'll want to hit

4:41

update inbox sync settings and you'll be

4:43

good to go
