Your Zoom Personal Meeting ID (PMI) is a permanent Zoom meeting room tied to your Zoom account. When your scheduler uses your PMI link, everyone who books with you gets the same link and passcode, so you don't create a new Zoom meeting for each booking.
How to Turn On Your PMI in Zoom
Open the Zoom app.
Click the dropdown arrow next to New Meeting.
Hover over your PMI number and click PMI Settings.
Check Use Personal Meeting ID (PMI).
To control how guests join, set your passcode and the other settings you want, such as the waiting room and video settings.
Click Save.
With Use Personal Meeting ID (PMI) checked, New Meeting opens your PMI room every time. If it's unchecked, Zoom creates a new meeting with a different link, and people who booked through your scheduler won't land in the same room as you.
How to Find Your PMI Link and Passcode
You can copy your PMI link and passcode from the Zoom home screen or from inside a meeting.
From the Zoom Home Screen
Click the dropdown arrow next to New Meeting.
Hover over your PMI and click Copy Invitation.
Paste the invitation into any text editor and copy the meeting link and passcode from it.
From a Live Meeting
Start a Zoom meeting from your PMI.
Click the green shield icon in the top left corner of the meeting window.
Copy the invite link and passcode from the pop-up.
How to Add Your PMI Link to a Scheduler
In the left sidebar, click Automation.
Click Schedulers.
Click the pencil icon on the scheduler you want to use.
On the Details tab, select Zoom under Conferencing.
Paste your PMI link into the Personal Meeting URL field.
Click Save & Return to Schedulers.
Every meeting booked through this scheduler uses your PMI link. If your guests need your passcode to join, include it in your confirmation or reminder emails.
Key Notes
You don't need a paid Zoom account to use a PMI. Changing your PMI number requires a Zoom Pro account.
The Personal Meeting URL field is required when Zoom is selected, and the link looks like https://zoom.us/j/ followed by your meeting number.
When it's time for a booked meeting, start it from your PMI so you and your guest land in the same room.
