Transferring Your Sub-Account to a New Account
If you're currently a sub-user under a larger account (such as with a marketing agency or virtual assistant) and would like to transfer to a new account, here are the steps and important details to know.
Requirements
$75 Transfer Fee
Due to the complexity of the process, we charge a $75 fee for this service.Permission from Your Current Admin
Your account admin must email us granting permission for the transfer to take place.Confirmation of Data Readiness
Your account admin must confirm that your data is prepared for transfer.Only Remaining Items Will Be Transferred
For each item type (email templates, contact lists, text templates, etc.), we transfer all remaining items. Please delete anything you don’t want moved before the transfer.No "Shared With Me" Templates
Templates shared with you or copied from shared templates cannot be transferred. Only content originally created from scratch is eligible.New Destination Seat Must Be Ready
You must have a new, clean seat in your destination account for us to transfer your content into. The seat should not already contain any data or templates.
Limitations
This is not a full account migration. Only select content is copied over.
The following cannot be transferred:
Communication history (emails, mass emails, social posts)
API keys
Text subscription (you will need to create a new one)
Text message numbers (can be transferred separately—contact support)
Expectations
Transfers can take 2-3 weeks to complete.
Plan Ahead
This process requires coordination between you and your current admin. To avoid disruptions, we recommend starting this process well in advance of your subscription’s end date.

If you plan on proceeding with this process - here is the order of operations:
Review this document in its entirety and ensure that what you are looking to do matches what is possible. In many cases, it is much simpler and faster to start from scratch.
Communicate with your Admin and ask them if this is something that they are comfortable with you doing. As a sub-user you are in their account and will need their blessing.
Work with your Admin to prepare the account so that it is ready to have content transferred. See the above sections "Only Remaining Items Will Be Transferred" and "No Shared With Me Templates"
Ensure the new destination seat is prepared.
Have your Admin write to us granting permission (they can write to support@vipecloud.com).
Pay the $75 invoice that we email to you.
